WordVoiceWord

WordVoiceWord is a film produced in response to  The Contingency of Curation symposium at Tate Britain, 2010 in which I filmed a panel discussion I had co-organised ‘Mediation as Production’ and had this live subtitled. The film has the live audio and subtitling with an added layer of computer simulated voice slightly out of synch. The ensuing film is simultaneously difficult and absorbing, like subtitles themselves, throwing confusion into understanding. This was shown in The SIA Gallery exhibition, Transmission Off-Air, Sheffield, 2010.
