A Modern Day Magic Lantern Show

Magic Lanterns were used to project images and as visual aids for story telling. They were often used in public lectures but also for home viewing and entertainment. I am visually intrigued by the manipulation of these small narrative representations and have been re-working this imagery in many formats. This short silent film was the first re-projection of this work and was shown at Hull’s Freedom Festival 8th September 2013
