Mediated By Glass

Mediated by Glass is a series of self portraits taken with cameras and camera-phones using mirrors to mediate the process. Often used as experiments and fun moments this seems to be a common process in image making, a rite of technique building and looking a way of being in the process of image making and the resulting image. As Narcissus reflected on his image in water these portraits have many reflections, to the image maker, the viewer, the mirror and finally the screen. This collection of images is growing and I welcome additions to it.
